Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

Check us out in the Fredericksburg Standard Post!

Yea! My baby's in the paper. :) Fellow readers, the extended version is available in the physical paper. (Yes, Mom and Dad, I will have copies. Tell me how many you want me to sign.) :-D

Fredericksburg Theater Company and the Standard are starting a series of "Changing Lives" circling around the lives of several FTC's members; volunteer or staff. The initial chapter focuses on The Goffs!

Lovin' the family portrait! See if you can read Tiny's shirt. (Assistant Director) It's like I plan these things...

Short and sweet can't be beat.

July in the 'Burg

Grandmother & Poppy
My mom and Ted came to stay with us! They came to see Oklahoma! and of course Mr. Tiny. We watched the opening Sunday performance with them and Ted's daughter and three other grand kids. :)

I've got your nose!

SOLIDS - 1st week of July
Sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, and peas are the first foods for Tiny. He actually eats it! So far it hasn't ended up in anyone's hair.

Independence Day!
Happy birthday, USA. FTC's (Fredericksburg Theater Company) Oklahoma! cast rode in the parade and sang at Market Platz. Tiny had a great day of riding in the parade, singing with the cast and me at Market Platz, hanging out at Lady Bird with our church, and the watching (AND laughing) the fireworks!

Tiny sleeper...

The ladies do love him!

Granddad and Grandmama
My dad and Carolyn came down to visit Logan and see the show. I slayed about 5 scorpions and we even had a visit from the Jehovah's Witness. But I think the grandparents favorite thing was catching this little frog.

Crawling - 2nd week of July
Wobble wobble plop. Scoot scoot scoot plop. Scoot plop. Scoot plop. Scoot. Plop. He is still using his stomach, but that is definitely crawling!

Play date/ meeting
We had a play date/ meeting with Freddyburg's new Imagineers instructor and her kidlets. We had a yummy lunch that she made for us and we watched the kiddos play as we discussed the fall classes. FUN afternoon!

Happy Kerry's birthday!
We started off with morning presents: a framed picture with "I love you because..." so I can use a dry erase marker to add my own message. Tiny and I gave him Reese's Miniatures with personalized stickers on the bottom of each wrapper. (Think candy valentine hearts.)

We closed Oklahoma! and had two AWESOME pool parties!

6 months
Mr. Tiny is now 6 months old. Though it hasn't been very long, Kerry and I both agree that it seems like we have known him always.

Bath presents!

Li'l Voices
We started our VERY first Mommy and Me class with our good friends Donna Vaughan and Debra Gunter. We met our friends Caitlin and her son Mr. E! We sang, danced and played! Tiny LOVED it!

He especially liked his Cookie Monster sticker.

Camp
Camp Broadway starts in a little over a week- Eeeeeeek! I'm excited. :)

OK!

Being so very busy, it is difficult to keep up with my blog. I am impressed that I am doing so!

OKLAHOMA!
We are beginning Crunch Week (the rehearsals leading up to the performance) this week. I am very pleased with the choreography. I have really enjoyed working on this production because the cast has been so energetic and talented. It has been really great working again with our college friend Zac Tiedemann. He is a joy to work with and his talent is amazing.  Tiny has been a BIG help at rehearsals. Everyone comments on what a good baby he is. :) Wheee, proud momma!

TINY
Little Mister is really wanting to crawl, but is lacking a bit in the coordination. I would think he is going to be crawling within the next month. He is now 5 months old. We are waiting until after Oklahoma! opens before we start on solids. He is definitely interested in anything we are eating. Tiny had his first swimming experience! We were invited to a friend's house for a Goodbye Party for our friends the Vaniceks. Kerry held him in the water/ giant bathtub. He really seemed to enjoy it!

BOOK
I've written a very short children's book for Tiny and will be looking into publishing companies. (Probably a self-publisher) I am excited about having a story I wrote for Tiny as a real book! I will keep you updated.

FATHER'S DAY
We celebrated Kerry's first Father's Day! It was a really great day. We went to church, got some ice cream, made ice cream sandwiches, and gave Kerry his gifts. Tiny and I made a photo album with photos off of Instagram.

Tutorial:
1. Download Printicular to most smart phones. And follow instructions.
2. Pick up your prints (4x4 or 8x8) for pretty cheap at Walgreens.
3. Tape/Glue to card stock
4. Caption and done!

I just put my pictures in a mini album from Walmart.

There's more to come from Goffburg!

The Goffs

Tiny helps, too!

Life in the Goffburg

I really hope this blogging thing works out. Lately, I have been working on budgeting my time well. Though, I don't feel like there has been progress in that area (mainly due to the overproduction of laundry and dirty dishes), I think I actually have made baby steps.

Speaking of which, that brings me me to my first topic: baby steps! or well, not exactly.

Along with juggling being married to a very busy (wait I AM married, right?) wonderfully, amazing, and spectacular husband, I am also the director of a youth theater program called Freddyburg Youth Theater, and OF course I am a new mother to a beautiful 4 month old boy. We call him Tiny. Actually, he has a TON of nicknames, but I'll stick with Tiny.
At one month, he was standing with one of us holding him for balance.
At two months, he began rolling from his tummy to his back.
At three and one half months, he was rolling from his back to his stomach.

This week we went to the San Antonio Zoo. Kerry and I loved it and Tiny slept. :) He just liked being with Mommie and Daddy. We also celebrated my FIRST EVER Mother's Day. Kerry got me a necklace with a copper coin that says 'Lucky Us' and two pennies with the year 2010 (the year we were married) and 2013 (the year our little one was born). The flowers are from Tiny.

Oh, hail! And did it... We had reports of as large as softball sized hail. We had ping pong and golf ball sized at our house. We had such damage, that we are getting an entirely new roof! Three windows and a skylight needs to be replaced. The inspector said if we had a doghouse, we'd be getting a new one, too.

We wrapped up our spring semester of Freddyburg Youth Theater! We are already taking registration for our summer camp which is called Camp Broadway. They will learn songs from different musicals, choreography, acting scenes from those musicals, and build, paint, and program lights for their own production. Did I mention this was only ONE week?! I can't wait. :) 3rd grade through seniors, bring it on!

We are starting rehearsals for Oklahoma! I am choreographing ballet and maybe tap. VERY excited.

OK, stay tuned for upcoming installments of Goffburg!
